New EPF members

On 22st October, EPF has accepted two new associated members: Council for Sustainable Transport Denmark (http://baeredygtigtrafik.dk) und Union of Passengers Russia (www.sopass.ru). This means that EPF now in total has 37 member organisations.

Free Interrail pass for young EU citizens is a good idea

The European Passengers’ Federation is in favour of the proposal to give all young Europeans the opportunity of a free Interrail card when they reach the age of 18. Many children have experienced in their youth only cars, local busses or trams. They have never learned the great possibilities of trains to travel across borders inside Europe.
